Our final club race of the season will be held on Sunday, Sep 6. Sponsored by Without Limits, this race will be at a sprint distance: 1/4-mile swim, 10-mile bike, 3.1-mile run. A nice tune-up for Hyannis 2 the following weekend!

The course will be marked, but study this map ahead of time:

Starting gun is at 7:30am. Suggested donation of $5 to help pay for the lifeguards Note: for insurances purposes all participants must be members of CCTT. Annual dues are only $20. Forms are available at registration.

Kids Triathlon

Saturday, August 1 was the third annual David Brazil Kids Triathlon, held in memory of our teammate Dave, who we lost four years ago. Dozens of our teammates volunteered at the event, raising funds for two college scholarships for local high schoolers. Thanks to all.

Our 2015 Formula One Race

A motivated crowd jumped into Long Pond on a recent Saturday to contest for the fourth annual CCTT Formula One race. Overall wnners were Justin Torrellas and Katie McCully. For those who may not be familiar with F1, it’s an Australian format where you swim one-sixth of a mile, bike 5, run 2, then get back into the water to do it all over again one more time. A great brick workout, and a dozen teammates earned gift cards from the race’s sponsor, Marathon Sports.

Great party!

For the Cape Cod Tri Team’s “Start-the-Season” social, we invaded Cape Cod Beer for an evening and enjoyed an excellent buffet dinner and good brew! There’s sure to be a mid-season social coming up…keep an eye out for details!
