Dear Cape Cod Athletic Club:
The American Red Cross Cape Cod and Islands Chapter is holding its 2nd Annual Disaster 5K Run/Walk event this upcoming October 20th and we would like to invite you and your club members to participate! All proceeds from this event will go towards disaster relief support for those affected by an emergency or disaster on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.
Event registration is $20 per person before September 30th, and $25 after that. The event will take place October 20th on the Hyannis Village Green in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Registration is from 8:00-9:00AM and the Run/Walk begins at 9:15AM. First 100 registered participants also gets a free commemorative t-shirt.
We challenge you to create a team, recruit friends and family, and set a fundraising goal! Help to raise money for a great cause and have some fun while doing it!
The first male and female finishers will receive medals (Master of Disaster and Mistress of Disaster).
Dress as your favorite superhero to support our local heroes and be eligible to win individual or team best costume prizes!
